Metro and its drivers cannot be held responsible for any items left in our vehicles it is the responsibility of the passenger to check for all items on exiting the vehicle.
That said we will always endeavour to help you reunite with lost items, please phone the office and we will contact the driver that picked you up and ask them to check their car. If they find your item they can drop it off to you ** mileage fees apply**
Our office is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
We accept cash and card in all of our vehicles. All of our vehicles can take contactless payments – we can also send a payment link via text to pre-pay for out of town return journeys etc..
We have anything from Executive to Saloon cars, Estate cars, six-seater vehicles and eight-seater minibuses. Please phone the office to check availability.
Yes, you can book for between 4 – 8 passengers in one vehicle. You can do this on the app, website or over the phone.
We recommend you call the office for accurate waiting times or to pre-book for one of our larger vehicles.
No our vehicles are exempt from car seat laws. Children can travel in the rear of the car without a seat. Over 3 year olds must wear an adult seatbelt.
Under 3 year olds must sit on an adults lap, with the seatbelt only around the adult and child in arms
You are welcome to provide your own car seat for long journeys. We can keep hold of this for you in our office, for a fee of £5. This can then be brought along for a return journey, or be collected by yourself from the office.
Yes, we strictly comply with GDPR. Your data is safe with us and will be handled in line with our privacy policy.
We work on a meter for jobs in and around our local areas. For jobs that are to or from out of town, we have fixed prices. Please speak to our office for more information or quotes for specific journeys.
Yes, we happily and regularly transport passengers to anywhere within UK mainland. Please phone the office to receive a quote.
No, our WhatsApp is unmanned and for outgoing messages only. You can make bookings over the telephone, on our app and also on our website.
No, our cars have to be pre-booked with either a call, online or via app. Except for the Metro Bishops Stortford Railway Rank.
Yes. If the driver has not been dispatched and it has not been paid by a payment link, you will not be charged. If the driver has arrived at the pick up location and has travelled to get there, there may be a cancellation charge to cover the drivers fuel and time spent. All link payments are non refundable if not cancelled within 3 hours of the allocated pick up time or if the vehicle has been dispatched
We send out messages to confirm your booking, as well as messages when the driver has been dispatched and has arrived. These messages work on a mobile network and therefore are not always reliable, they are complementary and unfortunately we cannot be held reasonable for missed transport please always keep in contact with the base and keep a look out.
Please phone the office and they will help you locate the driver. We have a tracking system that can assist with this you should also have a tracking link sent to you once our driver is on the way
Yes. Our drivers have receipts in their vehicles, they can provide you with one once the payment has been made. Email receipts can also be sent once a journey has been completed.
